Roles and Responsibilities
The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organisations sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients.
The primary roles and responsibilities include:
- Prepare proposals, respond to RFQs/Tenders, update CRM Software
- Participate in conferences/tradeshows to promote the product & service offerings
- Should provide online & direct sales & marketing presentation to prospects
- Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
- Keep prospective client database updated
- In-depth knowledge of Software Sales.
- Make cold calls for new business leads
- Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
- Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
Competencies & Skills required
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.
- Must have good Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills
- Exposure and proven experience in Software Sales.
- Ability to work independently and meet Sales target.
- Must be detail oriented and an active listener
