Qualification/Competencies Required

•  UG/PG in Computer Science / Information Technology / Any other engineering degree with experience Java platform
•  Good understanding of Object Oriented Principles & Design patterns
•  Hands on experience in software development in Java in multi-threaded environment – Core Java, GWT, JUnit, Eclipse, Algorithms, Exposure to web technologies and UI frameworks such as Angular/ JQuery/ GWT is an added advantage
•  Key skills: Core Java, Eclipse platform, JUnit, Java algorithms
•  Exposure: SWT and Jface, Swing
•  Added advantage: Web technologies & UI frameworks such as Angular/JQuery/GWT
•  Experience in XML with any one of the schema languages is a must
•  Should have excellent problem solving and communication skills
•  Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
•  Exposure to project management processes and practices, particularly in Agile Scrum methodologies
•  Looking for candidates with leadership qualities as the job involves anchoring customer relationship including travel to customer sites in Europe/US
•  Good analytical, quantitative and data interpretation skills
•  Shall have very good documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills
•  Experience working in Linux environments
•  Exposure to configuration and validation tools (like SVN/Git, Jenkins, etc)

Job Description

•  Hired candidates shall be responsible for design, development, review and maintaining of open source eclipse plugin used in Industrial Ethernet and IoT applications
•  Shall ensure development is as per the standards – in terms of services, standard practices, guidelines and performance
•  Shall play the role of a scrum master or product owner
•  Shall contribute within agile framework in bi-weekly or monthly sprints
•  Interact with customer/sales teams to understand business requirements and prepare product backlogs
•  Shall mentor and lead a team of design & software engineers
• Versatile in learning new technologies, tools and soft skills required to accomplish business objectives
•  High performing candidates can expect to represent the company at customer locations outside India and international technology trade fairs
